Greater Seattle Area Air Conditioning with a Mini Split from MRCOOL®

An air conditioning mini split system is a great option for keeping your home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The best thing about it? You can control the temperature in each room individually, which maximizes comfort and energy efficiency.

Gone are the days when you had to deal with bulky window units or ducts running throughout your home. Mini-split systems are sleek, compact, and can easily blend into any decor. Plus, they are whisper-quiet, so you won’t even notice they are running.

Installing a mini-split system is also a relatively easy process that won’t take up too much of your time, so you can start enjoying the benefits right away. And if you’re looking for an eco-friendly option, mini-splits use significantly less energy than traditional HVAC systems, which results in lower electricity bills and a reduced carbon footprint.

What is the most efficient air conditioning unit?

The SEER rating is where it’s at – it measures cooling output and electricity consumption. Higher ratings = cooler homes with less energy usage…but you might have to break the bank a little at first. Don’t fret though, you’ll save money in the long run. Just keep in mind that proper installation and maintenance are key to getting the most out of your unit. Stay cool, my friends.

Are there any rebates our tax incentives?

Yes! There are local and national programs. And of course there are restrictions and fine print to read and understand.  The largest program is the federal tax credit program where you can receive tax credits up to 30% of the cost – the Energy Star website is a great resource on this and so much more. Local utilities like Seattle City Light and Puget Sound Energy also offer rebates on heat pumps and more.
